Full Buildouts -- The Process
After our initial meeting we’ll take some time to internally discuss your needs and current situation. If we think it’s a good fit, we’ll present a few different plans to move forward depending on what exactly we think we can do and how much you’re willing to invest in software. If you’re ultimately not interested, we’ll part ways here. If you’d like to move forward, we’ll draft an agreement and move on to the next step.
This is when the work begins. In our experience one of the hardest things about building out new software is fleshing out the process sufficiently in advance. It’s very important to nail down every single detail about company processes and operating logic so that we can build the system efficiently and without flaw. At this stage we’ll meet in person and do a deep dive on your company processes. This is a tedious step and could take several hours, but it will be worth it.
This is the central step of the whole process and will take the majority of the time. Once we understand your needs and have an idea of what kind of system to create, we’ll just start building it. Along the way, we’ll consult with you, adjust it to be exactly how you want it, and repeat the process for each component. This often involves weekly phone calls and reviews up until the core functions of the system are all built out.
Once the core functions of the system are complete we’ll run it all through our internal testing and documentation system to make sure it works as planned. We’ll also consult with you at this stage to ensure things work precisely how you desire then fine-tune it to your exact specifications.
Making the system is only half the battle—getting familiar with it and getting your employees to use it is often challenging. That’s why when we’re finished with the system we’ll deliver it with full documentation and detailed, white-label training materials to make the transition easier.
We’ll stick around for awhile once the system goes online to make additional changes or hold in-person trainings. The ultimate goal is for you to own and maintain the system, so we can’t stay around forever, but we’ll stay as long as is necessary. At that point if you want to plan further changes to the system or develop new functionality down the road, we’re happy to discuss a new arrangement for continued buildout.
We are Zoho Authorized Partners with extensive experience using various Zoho services. Our company, including this very website, runs on Zoho. If you’re just looking for assistance with your Zoho system we are happy to help. We can help you maintain your current system, troubleshoot problems, or even build you something new.
Some clients just want help and don't need a full buildout. Others are halfway done with their system and need assistance finishing it up. Others just want help documenting their system and developing training presentations. Full build-outs are our bread and butter but we're happy to discuss an arrangement of any kind.
